How to Convert Whole Spices to Ground Measurements

Allspice: 1 teaspoon allspice berries = 3/4 teaspoon ground allspice
Black pepper: 1 teaspoon peppercorns = 1 teaspoon ground pepper
Cardamom: Approximately 10 pods, dehusked = 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
